the wedding experience

a calm and considered wedding photography experience

As a wedding photographer, my role is to do more than simply turn up with a camera. From your first enquiry through to your final gallery, I’ll help you feel prepared, comfortable and supported. I'll guide you through timelines, the best light, portraits and the little details that help your day flow naturally. My approach blends candid, documentary-style wedding photography with gentle editorial direction, so your images feel honest, timeless and full of feeling.

my approach

real moments, gently guided

what it's like to inlcude me in your wedding day

My approach is calm, natural and story-driven, blending documentary wedding photography with a subtle editorial eye. For most of the day, I’ll observe, anticipate and capture moments as they naturally unfold — the laughter, emotion, movement and little interactions you may not even notice happening. I’ll blend into the background when needed, so you can stay present with your people while I document the day honestly and unobtrusively.

When direction is needed, I’ll step in with gentle, confident guidance. During portraits and key parts of the day, I’ll help with relaxed prompts, movement and positioning so you know exactly what to do without feeling awkward or stiff. This is where the editorial side of my work shines through. I'll guide with considered composition, beautiful light, elegant framing and a polished feel, while still keeping everything natural and true to who you are.

From your first enquiry through to the final gallery, my aim is to make the experience feel easy, thoughtful and well supported. Whether you’re planning a wedding in Adelaide, the Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale, the Barossa or elsewhere in Australia, we’ll talk through your timeline, and the moments that matter most, with the best light for portraits.

On the day, you can relax knowing everything important is being captured from the quiet morning preparations to the chaos of the dance floor.

the booking process

From your first enquiry through to the delivery of your wedding album or keepsake box, I’ll guide you through each stage so everything feels clear and easy. We’ll talk through your plans, choose the coverage that best suits your day, shape your photography timeline, and make sure the moments that matter most are captured naturally.

You'll have my full support before, during and after the wedding.

STEP 01

inquire and availability

Head to my contact page and fill in the enquiry form with your wedding date, venue and a few details about what you’re planning. I can confirm my availability, and be in touch to organise a time for us to meet and talk through your day. If I'm not available on your date, I'll recommend other photographers who are.

STEP 02

Call or meet in person

We’ll meet either online or in person over coffee or a wine. This is a chance for us to get to know each other, talk through your plans, discuss my approach, and work out which coverage option best suits your wedding. After we meet, you can consider my approach and decide if I would be a good inclusion to your day.

STEP 03

secure your date

If you feel like I’m the right fit, I’ll send through the booking agreement and invoice for the 25% booking fee. Once both are completed, your date is officially reserved and I'll make myself unavailable to other couples.

STEP 04

planning your timeline

Closer to the wedding, I’ll send through a detailed questionnaire to gather everything I need — locations, timings, family photo lists, key moments and any special details. From there, I can help guide your photography timeline so the day feels relaxed and everything important is captured.

STEP 05

your wedding day

On the day, you can relax and be fully present. I’ll capture the real moments as they unfold, while gently guiding you when needed for portraits, family photos and the best light. The aim is for the experience to feel calm, natural and never overly staged.

STEP 06

sneak peeks gallery delivery

You’ll receive 30–50 sneak peek images within 48 hours, with your full online gallery delivered within 4–8 weeks. Depending on your package, your premium linen keepsake box, wedding album or framed print will follow, giving you something beautiful and tangible to enjoy beyond the screen.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. how long until we RECEIVE our full gallery

All my packages include a sneak peek of about 30 images within 48 hours. I aim to deliver the full gallery in 4-8 weeks after your wedding.

2. how much editing do you do?

All images will be edited for colour, tone, cropping and a few things to make the images pop. Small blemishes, like an annoying pimple will be brushed out, but more specific photoshopping (adding in a person who isn't there, or making alterations to your dress) will incur an additional cost.

3. can you reserve a date?

Unfortunately, I can't reserve a date until a 25% non-refundable booking fee is paid and a booking agreement is signed. Once the booking agreement is signed and the deposit is paid, I'm confirmed and will make myself unavailable for other couples.

4. Do you offer digital files, prints, or albums?

Yes, all photos will be delivered via an online gallery, which will remain online for 12 months. My 8-hour package includes a linen gift box with prints, and my 12-hour package includes a 24-page wedding album. You can order additional prints directly from your gallery.

Frequently Asked Questions

5. Do you have a recommended videographer?

Yes! I work with talented filmmaker Sean Anderson, who is exceptional and we've worked a lot together. More information about videography on my packages and pricing page.

6. do you offer behind the scenes content creation?

Yes! I can provide a content creator for 5 hours to capture a whole range of behind the scenes footage so you and your wedding party can be phoneless, present and enjoy each moment. You'll receive videos filmed on an iPhone the next day, and two reels suitable for Instagram and TikTok within a week. See my packages and pricing page for more information.

7. Can we meet to help make our decision?

Yes, absolutely. Once you enquire via my online form, I will get in touch within 24 hours to organise a time to either meet in person (with coffee or wine) or over Google meet. That way you can check if I'm a good fit before making your decision.

8. do you charge a travel fee?

Anything beyond The Barossa Valley, Adelaide Hills or Mclaren Vale, may require a travel fee and can be discussed at the time of booking. Interstate weddings in Australia are quoted at the time of  the first consultation.
